I always found that picture especially funny, since it is perfectly reasonable if you have been exposed to quantum mechanics. You can actually experimentally verify that nothing "turns into" something fairly often in every atom. Quantum mechanically there is absolutely no reason why a whole "lot" of nothing could not spontaneously "become" something or why something could not spontaneously "become" nothing.

All you angry guys in here should watch the newest episode of South Park.

I don't see the humor in this. I don't see 19 major religions trying to alter my kids school books, making billboards or knocking on my door. I graduated college three years ago. I have a really good relationship with my parents. I'm also agnostic.

I don't recall anywhere in science saying that something came from nothing. I could be wrong though.



Since this forum is based primarily in north america and christianity is the primary religion here i can't see a reason for it not to be singled out. If we were primarily muslim i imagine Islam would be singled out.
