It is kinda weird.. it doesn't make any sense to say the month before the day because you put the largest .. at the end: years. Medium - Small - large.. other than Small - medium - large which would make more sense. We would say 11/9 here

Some of you guys are pretty sad people... and you're probably going to respond to that statement with something retarded that you think sounds philosophical.

Bottom line of 9/11; a lot of people died who did nothing wrong. I don't care if you believe the government did it, terrorists did it, the Afghani government, it doesn't matter.

2,000+ innocent people died, and that is why we remember. If you don't want to remember, carry on, but don't try to criticize others who reflect on and remember what happened that day.

Every day, almost 16000 children die from hunger-related causes. That's one child every five seconds.

E: Or maybe you don't think they are innocent.

Personally, I remember them all the time too. Are you trying to tell me who or what I should remember more?

It's not a game to see who can get the most mourners, terrible things happen in the world every SECOND.

Children starving is a terrible thing.
The death toll in Iraq / the Middle East is a terrible thing.
And 9/11 is a terrible thing.

Don't think that because I remember 9/11 I'm some conservative right-wing prick who only cares about the lives of Americans.

E: Unfortunately I have to agree with you, there is people in the world who could care less about innocent children that starve and die daily, and think the lives of their "own kind" are worth more.

I'm not one of those people.

I'm not saying that, I'm just saying 9/11 doesn't stand out anymore in my memory than the deaths of children daily. I'm not telling you to do anything, I'm just saying personally I believe there are much worse things than 9/11 happening every day.

There is no such thing as innocence in this world. A baby is a product of its parents.
Under natural circumstances a parent organism can only afford to raise so many offspring from a given enviroment.
Sometimes the conditions are of which it cannot afford any.

Thing is.. people have sex.. and in extremely poor countries people either don't know about birth control or can't afford it, so it's not always a choice, same thing with aids.

The baby is innocent of the mistakes of its parents.

Afraid not, it inherits them.
