This is why it was right to replace McCarthy. He didn't adequately represent the non-moderate wing.
"Lets give that unconsenting, underage child just HALF the gender bending drugs you're proposing" is taking the half radical position, agreeing to a half-radical position makes one a half-radical.
Surely a moderate in this particular example should say "no drugs no way, until the person reaches the legal age where he is trusted to make such decisions for himself" ?
If a "moderate" goes along with half-radicalism, then he's clearly a spineless coward without principles.
Refusing to cooperate until the psychopaths offer an
actual moderate position - isn't that what a actual moderate should do? To pass moderate legislation instead of half radical one.
Instead McCarthy negotiated in private with the radical minority to implement THEIR agenda, just a somewhat watered down one.
