Difference is conservatives choose to be conservatives. See, judging somebody for something they can't choose makes you a garbage human. Judging somebody for something they can choose is fine as long as you've critically examined your standards.

Let's pay close attention to Goom's post. He's basically arguing that Trump's criminality deserves a pass because to treat his behavior fairly under the law would produce a bad outcome with his supporters.

How is this different from somebody from the mob claiming a prosecution of their boss would result in consequences? He's leveraging the nutjob mob Trump has with him to try to pressure prosecutors to not follow the facts and enforce the rule of law.

What do you mean how does it work? This isn't the 1800s lol, it's not like it would be a couple groups of dudes lining up in a field. If there were a serious civil war it would probably be fought using guerilla tactics/terrorism.

A better example would be the OKC bombings but on a much larger scale, with politicians and industry leaders being targeted alongside law enforcement, probably attacks on infrastructure throughout the US as well.

Considering it is basically a police state now it's hard to say how it would go, it would be hard for them to organize across state lines because your country has 0 privacy for plebs, and any veneer of it that remains would be swept away pretty quickly in that situation.

Either way would make for great TV.
