he's officially on the offensive
here we go, today for better or worse is the turning point in our trump saga. Likely timed to be ahead of the OIG report on Comey to fuel it

4 weeks from now, either Sessions or Rosenstein will be fired.

inb4 there's no evidence of actual wrongdoing but you, Hannity, and other propagandists claim there is

I think if that happens, it will confirm to me that Trump is guilty of serious wrongdoing related to the campaign. And Trump is not going to win this fight if he goes down that road, the rule of law in this country is more powerful than the president.

there is enough evidence for the suspicion that trump's campaign was spied on for political reasons. enough to warrant an inquiry. if the DoJ refuses such an inquiry at this point, trump will have every reason and every right to fire those who block it.

I think that's complete nonsense. Based on the public evidence, the FBI had plenty of reasons to open their investigation into Trump campaign officials. A Cambridge professor having a few conversations with campaign officials isn't some serious effort to spy on the Trump campaign.

Most Republican politicians are not Trump loyalists. They're riding the Trump train until it crashes. If he fires Sessions or Rosenstein, irregardless of whether you and Goom think it's justified, he will face a serious backlash. It's not a scandal that will disappear from the news in a few days. It will be the beginning of the end of his presidency.

" A Cambridge professor having a few conversations with campaign officials isn't some serious effort to spy on the Trump campaign."

A Cambridge professor who has been working for the intelligence agencies for over 3 decades and has been involved in scandalous spying operations during the 1980 presidential election. A source that the agencies themselves have, just this week, called "so important that lives coud be in danger if his identity gets public".

“I hereby demand, and will do so officially tomorrow, that the Department of Justice look into whether or not the FBI/DOJ infiltrated or surveilled the Trump Campaign for Political Purposes - and if any such demands or requests were made by people within the Obama Administration!” Trump wrote on Twitter.

Trump also escalated his attacks on the Justice Department on Friday, suggesting that the FBI may have planted or recruited an informant in his 2016 presidential campaign. He cited unidentified reports that at least one FBI representative was “implanted” for political purposes into his campaign.

U.S. Justice Department asks watchdog to check for political motivations in FBI Russia probe

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - The U.S. Justice Department asked its inspector general to expand a review of the National Security Agency’s surveillance application process to determine if political motivations affected the FBI’s probe of Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election, an agency spokeswoman said on Sunday.

The department asked the watchdog to consult with a federal prosecutor if the expanded FISA review finds evidence of potential criminal misconduct in how the FBI investigated people suspected of colluding with Russian agents, said Sarah Isgur Flo
