you mean like when he admitted on national television that he fired comey because of the russia investigation? how he stated publicly multiple times that he would release his taxes? how he told reporters on air force one that he didn't know anything about the payments to stormy daniels? his unhinged interviews with fox and friends that made even them cringe and cut him off so he doesn't damage himself further?
seriously, his track record when it comes to smart official statements is abysmal. sure, you cultists don't hold him accountable for that, and rather resort to shitty excuses like 'can't be corrupt, otherwise it'd be stupid to tweet about it' - but sane people see him for what he is...
