In actuality, the right to keep and bear arms DOES include the right to buy them, as well as ammunition. The Courts have repeated confirmed this, because without the right to buy, the right to bear is meaningless.

Muskets and modern sporting rifles are both "arms" and are therefore covered. The 2nd amendment says AR15 right next to muskets.
