There has to be consequences beyond just restitution. Otherwise there is no incentive to not commit this crime
There's nothing wrong with optics here, it's cut and dry embezzlement & justice would restore people's faith in the DOJ
Being disbarred and thrown off the bench would be the consequence, restitution would be the repayment in full and possible community service.
All I'm seeing in my head is, "Poor black FEMALE judge thrown in prison for trying to indict Trump."
It'd be a GODSEND if that's how it happens, if you're looking for Joe Biden to win 2024. Nationwide rioting. Anti-Trump vote ROARING strong.
ANY prison time would be too much. And I KNOW this sounds shitty and horrible. But what is your end goal? To simply punish the criminal, or to get the taxpayers their cash back and get a corrupt judge off the bench and out of the practice of law?
