WASHINGTON, DC—The American President Donald Trump has had his offer to visit the White House rebuffed by the rescued Thai boys, who instead have voted unanimously to return to the watery cave.

The cave which is now over 95% full of water has still been deemed more inviting than the White House especially to young children who would likely be seen as migrants and detained by ICE.

“They’ve been to hell and back and now you want to send them to another hell? No. These boys have been through enough,” said the boys’ soccer coach firmly.

During an event hosted by The Economic Club in Washington DC, Speaker Paul Ryan said his Chevy Suburban was gnawed on by a family of woodchucks
"My car was eaten by animals. And it's just dead," Ryan said.

As a top congressional official with a security detail and a chauffeur, Ryan says he hasn't driven in three years. So while he isn't using his car, he says keeps it at his mother's house in his hometown of Jainesville, Wisconsin.
According to Ryan, every month she revs up the Suburban just to make sure it still works. Recently, after returning home from a trip to Florida, it was dead."So I towed it into the dealer, they put it up, and they realized that a family of woodchucks lived in the underbody of my Suburban," he said.

Looks like Ryan's going to have to get a new car before he retires at the end of the year and has to start driving himself.
Ryan said he has his eye on a Ford pickup.
He also said he renewed his license, so barring anymore woodchuck encounters, he'll be ready to hit the road.

SAN DIEGO - Jorge Ramirez, an Oceanside minister and immigrant in the country illegally, didn't think he would end up in line for deportation when he encouraged his daughter, a U.S. citizen, to vote for Donald Trump.

In line with his conservative religious beliefs, Ramirez considers himself a Republican, he said in an interview at Otay Mesa Detention Center, where he is awaiting deportation proceedings. Border Patrol picked him up after staking out his house early one May morning, and he's been in the detention facility since.

Ramirez said he does not know why he is being targeted for removal from the U.S. The Trump administration has said that it is targeting criminals and those who have already been ordered deported. Ramirez said he falls into neither category.

"Trump said, 'Let's keep all the good people here and all the bad people out,'" Ramirez said.

"That's great, but I'm here," Ramirez said of his detention situation. "If I'm here, anybody can be here. I'm not saying I'm the best person in the world, but I've tried to live a good life."

Ramirez worked as a satellite television technician, and frequently went to Camp Pendleton. Issues with his security clearance brought him to the attention of authorities in December.

He said he supports the Republican agenda on fiscal and social issues and that he still supports President Trump.
