The only thing i did not get out of Ti was when i asked him why he thought the bible was so perfect, to me it is heavily altered by impure edits/translations throughout so it requires intellectual sifting,
though still perhaps the strongest source of divine real world relevance.

And he also did not get back to me on how he protects himself when online ;) I use blue blockers personally among other things.

Basically you need to cherry pick imo and that's a good thing, unless you like rotten fruit :P

staff is a reference to fortification(power/energy), discipline(applying knowledge humbly), obedience(remember the sin of moses) & drawing energy(from the rock or foundation). So, I see it as a lamp + oil+ fire ultimately. The rod synergizing with this concept while also representing the path, the road, the door that jesus is so together it's a scalding reproof or discipline by god's spirit strengthening the hearts and minds of men unto everlasting life or atleast the new heaven and new earth.
It's a good verse because it's a hopeful reminder that although the spirit of god is not always w/ man, that the holy spirit is seemingly with them as in aid against their darkest times.
