Maybe the guy should dress up a bit. So people know he isn't casing the joint.
I don't think it's whites as much as it is previous instances with blacks.

I don't hate anyone, just cause they're black. But if I came home or out of the door, and saw ANYONE black or white dressed like he was, doing nothing that was OBVIOUSLY a job, I would be suspicious.
Hell even Jehova's Witnesses wear suits.
I'm not saying everyone should have to wear an Armani suit, but hell, at least wear something decent.

I did 20 years of construction work, had to go into lots of strange neighborhoods, and even I wore a button down the front shirt. Sure it was plaid, and well worn, but it was what people expected a carpenter to look like
I've also dealt with lots of inspectors (building inspectors), and they wore suits.

Even property investors, wore nice clothes. Sort of GAP like.

IMO this guy was doing all this on purpose to get a reaction, so he could take a video. I mean look at the "color" shirt he's wearing. Just doesn't "look" like a property investor, does he. The ONLY thing he could have done worse, would be to wear a hoody. LOL

Our country also has a dress code, so to speak. Especially if you're in a strange neighborhood, working.
