Israel now supplying water to southern Gaza after US pressure. A good move, imo.

"Israel resumed on Sunday the water supply to the southern Gaza Strip after strong pressure from the Biden administration, two Israeli officials told Axios."

Resume the supply only on south to encourage Palestinians to go south..

So ground invasion keeps getting delayed. Question to the Israelis living there, what are your thoughts on this? Do you think a full scale invasion of at least parts of northern Gaza are going to take place?

Iran is warning of intervention if Israel does, but leaning towards those being empty threats at this point.

Delayed likely out of a combination of things:

1. The threats from Iran, even if empty, like you said.
2. Pressure for the international community to have temperance.
3. Hamas is actively blocking civilians from heading south. (I think this is probably the #1 thing, I assume).

Israel should take accountability for the military and intelligence failure that allowed this attack to catch them off guard, and should readily see that Hamas initiated this attack with Iranian support out of a desire to disrupt the normalization of relationship between Saudi Arabia and Israel. They're trying to provoke your government into an extreme response as as to:

1. Get Saudi Arabia to pull out of talk of normalization.
2. Get more Palestinian people to hate Israel and be sympathetic and/or join Hamas.
3. Rally the Arab world and stroke animosity towards Israel at-large.

If Israel had acknowledged the failure that allowed an attack of this scale to happen, focused solely on hostage retrieval, and then worked with the international community for a more organized, level-headed response to Hamas, then it would mean a greater chance of long-term peace and stability in the region. Unfortunately, Netanyahu is falling right into Hamas' trap.

Hamas is not an organisation to negotiate with. We are acknowledging the failure, will be plenty of time to investigate and put in jail those who responsible to it, after the war is done and Hamas cease to exist
By the way, policies and suggestions like this brought us to this situation to begin with. It makes you look week. The Middle East can’t tolerate weakness.

You operate in black-and-white thinking. None of my response mentioned anything about negotiating with Hamas.

In ‘Shalit׳ deal we released 1027 prisoners for one IDF soldier. So I assume that for 1300 dead Israelis 1,335,100 dead Palestinians will be suffice.

To whom you need to address for hostage retrieval ?
Keep in mind that for years Israel operated in the grey area and tried to keep everyone happy. Maybe it’s time to go black and white..

Whom did Israel address (re: negotiate) for the hostages they've already retrieved?

No one really.
As I said in the beginning of this thread, Hamas should released them all, voluntarily, just to gain two hours of truce.
Like it or not, you make peace with the strong. Not with the weak. There should be no doubts which one is which in the end of this war.
