apparently the Trump regime doesn't think they need to look into his actual story before talking about McCain, not a surprise from the "i prefer my war heroes to not have been captured" group.

TBH i stopped taking the VA and most verterans political opinions seriously when they backed him after that. I was naive enough to think those guys had a code which superseded politics, never again.

I think the irony part is hes anti torture because it doesn’t work

its funny how single platform PACs fold to a general platform they like. I get the VA is mostly conservative in the modern era, just as the NAACP is mostly progressive. Watching them fold their votes into a party without actual concessions in the form of specific policy is just pathetic. "Trump says he supports the troops and wants a strong military, plus he's finally going to fix the broken VA system. HE CALLED IT BROKEN FINALLY SOMEONE GETS IT" is just as pathetic as "HRC mentioned CJ reform, let's all vote for her without any specific plans". Schmucks.

the funniest thing i've seen is the new CIA head that's up for confirmation was asked "if one of your troop was captured by ISIS and was waterboarded would that be justified to you since we do it to them." you can hear her slow down to avoid giving them a headline worthy answer before reminding them that our guys aren't waterboarded, they're starved then beheaded or burned alive. So someone getting waterboarded upon capture would actually be a pretty realistic best case scenario.

http://observer.com/2014/02/the-politics-and-power-of-a-g-schneiderman/

Im posting that one again because it turns out that Trump did indeed know that Schneiderman was a creeper back in 2013. Gleason heard from women who wanted to come forward and told them it was suicide to go against the AGs office. Gleason mentioned it to a columnist Dunleavy, who mentioned it to Trump, who told Cohen, and Cohen later mentioned it and got it confirmed again with Gleason.

So by game of telephone, Trump knew Schneiderman was a sex abuser since 2013, his cryptic tweet insinuating it wasnt speculative or bullshit. Which seems to be a trend with Trump tweeting unsubstantiated stuff- he knows more than he lets on

lol come on bro. this is confirmation bias playing out.

i could point to hundreds, maybe thousands, of things trump said that didnt come true.

i have no doubt that he knew the guy was a creep, and he likely has heard rumors about hundreds of people he didnt talk about being creeps, many of whom were just caught in the rumor mill. this single event is a trend? oh right, there's actually another event, where trump/guiliani let it slip from FBI leaks that a curveball was coming for HRC before Comey made his announcement.

Im thinking back to the media storm when trump tweeted about trump tower being wiretapped.
