How else are we going to pay for universal healthcare if the American tax payer doesn't pay for it? Just take a look at Germany's tax brackets vs. America's.
American tax rates are FAR lower than competitive European countries. If Americans want these benefits, they need to pay up. That's not being edgy...that's being sensible. America was FINE under Clinton's tax rates and I think going back to those in addition to adding more brackets at the top will go a long way to reducing the deficit and providing long term financial stability.
I gave you plenty of reading material and I said that I disagree with most of it. For example, in the document I provided it says they want to raise the minimum wage to $15 by the year 2026. That has a pretty good chance of passing and that is more than the working class deserves.
I just don't understand why you love peasants so much. They are people with dignity, yes. But they just don't have what it takes to do the right thing when it comes to most policy. They simply don't know what's best for them. Don't believe me? Look at Brexit. This is a GLOBAL phenomenon.
it's amazing how we have such ridiculously high taxes, yet a lower percentage of poor people, universal healthcare, solid worker protection, significantly lower income inequality, affordable college, while at the same time working fewer hours and jobs on average... it's almost like the tax rate alone does not determine how much money you have available, and living in an oligarchy fucks everyone over except a very small elite - who would have thought?
concerning your moronic biden claim, i just assume that means you conceded that you can't think of anything he would realistically implement that would benefit the working class that they don't deserve. i mean, the best you could do is double down on your battered wife impression, pretending empty campaign promises are more important than decades of political record and his current ties to powerful donors and industries, lol.
