Realistically speaking, nazi germany wouldnt have been able to withstand even a one-front war against either the soviet union or the united states. The difference in population and industrial base was just too big.
And Nazi Germany could never have consolidated their rule over most of europe (after hypothetical, status quo ensuring peace treaties with the soviets or the americans) either.

Did the US declare war on Germany before or after you invaded Russia? I seem to remember the US declaring war once the Eastern front started the turn.

If the above is true then not attacking the Eastern Front would have meant domination of Europe + no declaration of war from the US, who would have only risked a huge war half the world way if they were 100% confident of victory.

Agree on the last part, colonies and subjected states always seem to find their way to freedom
