It’s the defense that brought up altered pixels
I know nothing about altered pixels.
So when you take a 1000x1000 dot image, and zoom in on a 100 dot by 100 dot portion, but turn it to 1000 dot by 1000 dot size, you have to ADD IN the extra dots. Does that make sense?
Like, the 100x100 image only has 10,000 dots. The 1000x1000 image has 1,000,000 dots. Where do the extra dots come from?
It's an interpolation algorithm. It's a pure alteration to the image. Is it generally reliable? Absolutely. Is it enough to convict over? Absolutely not.
So, understand that I'm not objecting from a stance of sabotage, I'm objecting from a knowing point of how digital imaging works.
