There's already enough guns out there to hedge against a tyrannical government, so absent confiscation, that argument doesn't really work. Increased gun control is entirely reasonable and consistent with the Second Amendment.

These mass shooters aren't gangsters from the hood... trying to find an AR-15 on the black market isn't easy, and certainly is much harder than walking into a gun store and buying it legally.
