there are some good natured, genuinely awesome Christians out there. a small percentage overall but still, they exist !

There are quite a fair be of really nice ones out there. It is quite easy to sport them. You need to know their denominations.
If you meet Pentecostals... Charismatics ..... you got to run....really run.

It must be terrible to have someone treat you respectfully and lay down their life for you out of love wanting you to have the best life here on Earth looking forward to promises of eternity in Heaven.

I can't imagine how traumatizing that is to have that kind of hope over your life and for them to freely choose that kind of heart.

Only about half of Christians are catholic. Even for modern catholics the pope is not speaking with infallibility, the last time ex cathedra(papal infallibility) was invoked was almost 100 years ago, and then only to clarify Mary’s ascent to heaven.
