Where can they flee? Hamas have locked them in to die, Hamas are using them as human shields, they have nowhere to run.. Hamas later use the civilians killed as a victim card of ”Israels terrorism and colonization”

Their are always casuilties in war but Israel are defending itself from all the Arab nations surrounding their borders that follows Irans ideology of one caliphat in the middle east, their goal is to deatroy Israel and make the entire region muslim.

you're not "targeting" them, you're just indiscriminately imprisoning, starving, and bombing EVERYONE, including women, children, elderly, innocent people. somehow that makes it "better"? hamas also murdered everyone in their attack, not just children. it's not a meaningful distinction, both sides cause unnecessary harm and death to defenceless civilians. hamas' methods might appear more barbaric, since they don't have tanks and aircraft at their disposal like "civilised" killers do, but israel still outmurders them by more than twenty to one.

the solution would have been to use that incredibly expensive military and the highly sophisticated intelligence network israel has to dismantle hamas

- WITHOUT creating yet another humanitarian catastrophe amongst an alread oppressed population living in an open air prison
- WITHOUT slaughtering thousands of innocent people, creating so much suffering and resentment that will inevitably create more violence down the road (at which point you will again resort to acting surprised about why those people could possibly hate you so much, launching "completely unprovoked" attacks)
- WITHOUT committing yet another ethnic cleansing.

netanyahu should have stopped propping up hamas a long time ago. he is, to a large degree, responsible for the fact they became so powerful in gaza. he used them as a tool, accepting the occasional attack as a price he would gladly pay in order to prevent more moderate voices from gaining power and control. what a costly miscalculation that was... he had to abandon his core aim of never allowing a palestinian state to exist.

the only real solution is that the occupation must end - one way or another. while there is an occupation, there will ALWAYS be violence and hate, it's inevitable. there is no humane or peaceful way to imprison and deprive millions of people, who have done nothing wrong, of their basic rights and needs. as long as there is an occupation, there will be resistance, and it'd be absurd and dishonest to expect anything else.
