How do the right-of-center posters here react to this personally? For myself, the display of Tim Scott's disloyalty to Haley/shamelessness/asskissery of Trump, combined with Trump's lack of character, and the crowd loving it all, makes me cringe hard. It also is further evidence(as if I need any more) that the party is completely beholden to Trump, and his behavior(which is being evil and cruel) is going to go even deeper while "respectable" Republican politicians sit back and smile.

Just to be clear, I'm not asking how you justify your vote for Trump because of Biden's *fill in the blank*, I'm asking what you think of the video I posted.

We haven't seen the text, but if it's true that it limits the President's expulsion authority (explicitly) except in cases where border crossings exceed ~5000 per day (1,825,000 per year!) then clearly it's dead on arrival, and for good reason.

The simple truth is that the Democratic party has no desire to secure the border, and is entirely beholden to the activist class that is defacto running the White House. The only acceptable solution is to have the President enforce border law.
