Fascism is any ideology that puts the needs/wants of the "group" before the needs/wants of the individual.

Fasci comes from the Italian word fascio which in turn is from the Latin word fasces. It means a group or bundle, represented by multiple sticks tied together to become strong. The ideology is that "the individual is weak, but together the group is strong"

Repression of individual rights therefore follows as a core doctrine.

No, that's the definition of collectivism.

Yeah I came back because of the holidays. I got a full cold sorc on ladder (I spent like 5k) and honestly after my family plans got destroyed by that blizzard before Christmas, I'm just bored and I can't wait until Monday, so I can get to working on a new project for a client.



I'm not defending them. It's an established fact that the Dixiecrat faction of the democratic party was partly responsible for creating the KKK. This is a conversation that gets more argued about recently than it ever probably has before because the media has done a great job as painting everything either republican or democrat, while also mixing them up to further confuse people. I could sit here and tell you those were southern states that are now firmly republican controlled, which is true, but I don't think anybody at the time would think that those people have much in common with the modern political parties that we have today. Again, for starters, they are all dead. The media back then was also like "Here's your bible and the newspaper comes out once a week, it's 4 pages long."
