Maybe I didn't say it slowly enough: Russia doesn't get a say in who governs Ukraine. It is impossible for the US to force a patsy Ukrainian government ON RUSSIA.

Russia does get a say. As they've proved. Sorry you don't like reality but it remains reality.

That's like saying the US gets a say in who governs Ukraine. We don't, and Russia doesn't. Ukraine does.

Except the US also does get a say, as the US proved when it fomented a coup against the democratically elected government of Ukraine and ended democracy in Ukraine simultaneously in 2014.
