You are not as tolerant as you think. You want to use the coercive power of the government to force children to think the same things that you do. Ie, homos are ok, trannies are ok..etc.

Raising children without structure or morals hurts them, we're seeing that clearly enough today. We need to be able to merge tolerance and tradition, liberalism alone has clearly failed.

School funding is a separate issue, first we need to decide whether we should devalue what it means to learn calculus, or whether objective metrics for merit based school admissions are appropriate. Most parents of any race say yes.

Funding is a tricky issue, taxes are mostly raised locally, and people don't want to pay local taxes for non-local schools. The solution likely has to be federal. I'm fine with the DOE allocating more funding to inner-city schools, but we've been doing that in one form or another for decades, and the results haven't been great. There's no real substitute for home life. What we can do is dismantle teacher unions, raise teacher pay, and establish clear metrics for what we want to see over time in inner city schools. I.e. better standardized test results and better graduation rates.

Making sure those schools actually get what they need on the most basic level would be a start. Ya know, having working lights and not moldy rooms. You just won't get any good metrics until funding is fixed.

We can throw money at the problems but school districts tend to divert resources towards the more politically powerful groups. Our system of funding allocation was intentionally built to exclude heavily minority areas until civil rights, and those systems still exist. It's not like we totally reworked the systems the next day.
