Likewise, if someone asks me "How can I prove that something bad will happen to me if I take the vaccine?", I can't prove it. I am not a chemist. I don't have the ability to do a personal chemical analysis of the contents of whatever needle would be offered to me. I can't study the results of the trials or confirm the honesty of the companies who produce, distribute or administer the vaccine (quite the opposite in fact, those companies have convinced me that I should NOT trust them!). And even if I could do all the personal analysis, I certainly couldn't have a casual conversation about my findings in a social setting.

Not knowing what could happen does not mean I can prove that something bad will happen, but it means that I'd prefer to stay on the solid ground that I am familiar with. If covid kills me (or gives me any serious health problems), that's fine with me. That's just like being scared to stand on solid ground because there might be an earthquake (a silly fear to have).

Your analogy fails because earthquakes aren't contagious and vaccines are continuously monitored for significant reactions. They shut down the J&J vaccine because of 6 blood clots out of 6 million vaccinated individuals.
