My point was mainly that making journals free to access for government-funded research is impossible because there is still cost for the journals themselves to review the Articles and publish the journal.

I would love nothing more than having free research articles. Not having to wait for Library loans would significantly speed up my own research.

Government lowering taxes for almost everyone is the 'reverse' of armed assailants taking tax money from the government and giving it back to the people, i suppose.

I'm pretty sure middle class taxes will go up. I know I'm gonna end up paying more and there will be literally nothing to show for it. Some 1% parasites gonna benefit.

Why don't you like paying more? Isn't it an honor and a privilege to give the government money that you earned? Aren't higher taxes good in your view?
Just think of all the wasteful shit they will spend it on to boost the economy. Plenty of broken windows that need fixing.

Yes that's it, people 1000 times richer will make more % and so on, indirectly, will lower the value of your earnings.
