i'm sorry but when exactly did two consenting adults deciding not to have sex become "a woman's choice"? is it because the penis goes in her body so she decides? way to strive for equality.

i'm all for free birth control, mainly for abortion prevention, but let's not pretend sex is a woman's choice then preach equality while leaning on cultural norms that would otherwise be demonized. bit too hypocritical to swallow.

This is something I've never been able to understand. Birth control is a good thing for exactly that reason - it prevents unwanted pregnancies and thus reduces the number of abortions. I don't get why there are people who think abortion is a good thing and/or celebrate it as such - it's something that's terrible that the world would be immensely better off without, but unfortunately it's a necessary evil. We should be looking to reduce the need for abortions as much as possible wherever possible.

i agree with most but disagree that abortion is some ungodly horror. i don't generally respect a being until it is cognizant, and i'm happy to ban abortions after that point. anything before a brain develops even remotely for me is fair game. i don't support the abortion itself, i prefer adoption among other options, but i support the choice.

i don't, and i'm not even sure it's consistent to a time that it could be objectively translated into good law. it's more of a generality, as some people think that a human is a human from the time the egg is fertilized and latches to the wall. i simply disagree, just because it has paddle hands and rudimentary eyeballs doesn't give it the same right to life as a full blown human imo. its not murder in the same way shooting someone is murder.

but i don't support abortion, i prefer to exhaust all alternatives that we can even at major cost. i simply don't hold myself as the boss of anyone on the matter providing they aren't killing a full developed child mentally. i'd simplify by saying i believe there is a white, grey, and black area. perhaps the white would be 1-1.5 months. grey 1.5-2 or so months, black there on out. those are just spitballed numbers, i know fuckall about fetus development timelines.
