This American was threatening to kill people as far back as the 90s when he was 11ish

I think in this case we have a violent and unstable person that was showing signs of being dangerous pre-9/11 and pre-isis and looks to me like he was going to hurt people regardless of religious affiliation or last words

The guy was pushed forward in his agenda by the suggestions and agenda of Radical Islamic groups, you can deny that or do with that what you will, it doesn't really matter, its a fact and he made it very clear.

Regardless of that though the bigger issue was that he had been hinting at doing terrible things for a long long time yet nothing was done to stop it (some a lot more subtle than others, like actually expressing interest in killing people). He had been investigated before, and nothing came of it. He had beaten his wife seemingly for no reason and instead of getting the law involved her parents just got her out of there. He sold his house to his sister in april for $10 and no one thought this was suspicious (like a lack of need for a house in the future). He was able to purchase weapons with ease even though hes obviously mentally unstable (though he could have always just home made weapons like explosives or got them from TOR or somewhere if need be). He had been reported for stalking and saying really dark shit to higher ups at work and no one did anything because it would be racist. and so on and so on.

He had been on a dark path for a long time and everyone just ignored it, like pretty much every other story we hear. His friend said that he started getting heavily into religion after a trip to Saudi Arabia. It doesn't take a genius to realize where his road ends. Hes been praising the 9/11 and similar attacks since he was a child, his dad supports the Taliban, he talks about killing people/being a martyr, ties with Al-Qaeda to the point where the FBI is following him. Appeared in multiple terrorist related investigations over the course of 2 years. A fucking racoon could have pieced that puzzle together.

Something is definitely wrong in the way things are being run and the way problems are being addressed and pussyfooting around peoples feelings while people die does nothing to help.

Perhaps the solution is not banning guns or building walls/groups of people but freeing up our law enforcement agencies to allow them to keep better track of violent/dangerous predators by stopping them from wasting so much of everyone's time and resources by controlling every little aspect of our lives which allows dangerous people like the one we are talking about to slip through the cracks.

Good police work stops these kind of tragedies just like it did in Cali.

I could agree entirely. I'm assuming you're referring to the man that was spotted and prompty stopped outside the gay pride festival with a ton of weapons and ammo / bomb material?

Yeah. They heard about FL and they decided instead of stopping the event out here they went full cop mode and they saved lives.

Our courts are slammed and our jails are full for dumbass reasons. Chase down the real bad guys and more people live and more tragedies are prevented
