I didn't read the chart that far, I seen Cato and kind of glossed over it as I'm sure there are plenty of other compounding variables, and their conclusion is likely something like "we shouldn't do education as a society" or "education should be privatized".

Not surprising that it costs more considering kids use computers in class and not an abacus.

It doesn't have any metric for 'achievement of 17 year olds' on there, just an arbitrary "0%"
If its a map of relative increase per year, an already disingenuous metric, then the costs should be represented according to the same logic

No metric? It is comparing NAEP achievement scores, which are flat.
