You are not part of God and God doesn't contain you. God is His own being and He created you to be your own being. God's word says that there is none righteous, no not one. So you are not perfect, only God is. There is no reincarnation according to the Bible. The choice you have to make as a sinner is if you will accept the Savior Jesus Christ, believing in your heart that He died and rose from the dead for you sins.

On a whim I could point out that I was not born yet when Jesus Christ was martyred, and that therefore my condition must be predetermined (sinner), and as being created as a sinner who am I not to sin?

We are saved only through Christ and by having the faith to believe in him and accept that he died for our sins. Only through him will you see heaven.

No, this teaching comes straight out of the Bible, all the way back to Paul's writings. Secondly, you were not created a sinner. You are not understanding how it works. Because ADAM sinned, the very nature of man changed into that of a sinful nature. Since you were not yet born, but were in fact born after Adam, you are a sinner by nature, just the everyone who's ever lived.

If you accept that in your heart then you would be a Christian.
