agreed morality

Ya it's moral to prevent two people who love each other from adopting children that they'll love equally as much.

Let's take a look at neo-conservatism:

1. You don't like abortion.
2. You don't want gay people WHO CANNOT PHYSICALLY HAVE CHILDREN to be able to adopt.

What do you propose we do to all of these kids who would give anything to have a stable family? A bigger point, if these gay people were born this way then wouldn't you say it was god's will?

i think the point is, people who dont want gays to adopt think that they will not provide a stable family

do i need to explicitly address the individual cases?

We grant benefits to married couples with children and as such the same should happen to married gay couples with children (adopted probably). You don't have kids? Than what you get back is proportional to what you offer to society, taxes etc.

Do i believe homosexual parents would provide an unsuitable environment for kids to grow up in? I don't know but i'd give them the benefit of the doubt.

I don't see how this is logical at all. Especially in these times when divorce is so frequent an argument could be made that married couples have trouble providing a stable setting.

what i meant to ask was what is the distinction from agreed morality and individual morality. if i think its is moral to let gays marry, yet you think its immoral then we obviously do not have "agreed" morality. so what is the distinction between agreed morality, and someones morality, since society as a whole will never be "agreed"

Why should people be rewarded for having children? When resources are a concern and the population is quickly growing I doubt we should be encouraging people to have children. Also, if global warming is a threat the best way to slow it down would be to encourage people NOT to have children.

Wouldn't it be awesome if a large study was done on something like this to provide concrete evidence for one side or the other? O wait.

No, I'm saying married couples are likely to divorce but somehow they are allowed to adopt. If a stable family is the concern then married couples aren't very reliable.
