So what is the solution? Because I have watched things get worse for 30 years and they just elected a guy to make it much worse.
If violence doesn't work why did America invade Iraq?
Why did you send seal team 6 after Osama?
The insurance industry commits 20 or more 9/11s a year.

You've watched nothing, you've just sat in a country that would be impoverished(and conquered) without America, stewing in your illogical hatred. The standard of living of the average American has skyrocketed in the past 30 years. If you disagree then try to find a source that says otherwise. The sky is fine, chicken little. Things could be better and they are getting better. Change comes slow in a moderate society, and is slowed down significantly by the need to protect your helpless country among others.

I didn't say "violence doesn't work" I said anti-social nutcases killing whoever they want because they don't like this system is bad. Osama Bin Laden had a lot in common with this nutcase, unfortunately he had a lot more power.

Wtf are you banging on about?
My country has zero enemies we didn't get from backing YOUR shitty country and following you into pointless wars, Australia does more to defend the USA than you do for us.

George Washington was bad because he used violence right?

The solution is for you to accept the things you cannot change, change the things you can and have the wisdom to know the difference. Sounds like you're missing all three pieces of the triforce.

In a civil society we petition our government for redress of injury and vote for the change we want. If such laws are within our means, we can elect representatives who will bring them to the masses. If you want to harvest free money trees to fund unlimited healthcare benefits for illegal aliens streaming into the country unregulated, then of course we can't. Healthcare costs resources. When HMOs denied claims and people with preexisting conditions could not find coverage, insurance was cheaper. Extending benefits greatly rose the cost of premiums and contributed to overall inflation and labor costs. Extending them to illegal aliens, like Kamala Harris promised to do and several democratic states already do, is fucking lunacy. Nationalizing healthcare could bring down costs by reducing the profits and streamlining business interests along research and production but requires a dramatic political change, one which can only be brought about by a political movement not terrorism.

Citizens united nullifies all the nonsense you just typed out, your average fortune 500 ceo has the voting power of a hundred million people.

So you're a bootlicker. What are your pronouns so we don't burst your safe space when talking to you.

The internet age really is a time to be alive.

Wouldn’t doubt the rats though, some McDonalds are really dirty.

and as always the same people who want to kill us if we don't give in to their unworkable political demands are the ones who want to suppress our political expression and overturn the first amendment.

You know I don't actually want to be the ardent civil libertarian I am today. I'd much rather be focused on issues and progress. A basic respect for free speech and fair trials makes me stand out from the ravenous horde of cockroaches trying to eat away at the structure of our democracy. Goomshill used to say stuff like hey, lets build infrastructure to compete with Japan and China. Now its "Lets not burn down the infrastructure of our republic". I need to give a sermon about how elections should be decided by a mandate of the voters and not the bullet of a lone gunman. Or how trials should be decided by the weight of evidence judged impartially, not appeasing a lynch mob. Or how you effect change by passing laws not by terrorist attacks.

Arguing with someone like plaguefear is very much like trying to explain the ethos of the Magna Carta to a surly lot of Taliban goatfuckers. I might as well try teaching them why you don't run SFTP through a compressed SSH tunnel on a slow connection

I wish you would make at least minimal attempts to think through some of the shit you say instead of removing all doubt you're a fool--for your own benefit. ~158 million people voted in this country in 2024, so by your math 2 top CEOs voting power would exceed the entirety of the US national electorate? Why didn't the democrats win then when they have overwhelming corporate support from the top tech giants in the US?
