This works. But you know what is the funniest thing about this propaganda?
The picture in the page is actually drug inmates and drug sellers from Xinjiang ( Mostly Muslim Uyghurs of course ) that was working with the freedom fighters in Afghanistan to push opium back into China.

But they're just trying to life their life and not harming their Chinese neighbours at all!

The perspective on drugs between the Far East & the West is interesting to me. The East Asians have a long cultural history valuing clarity of mind, reflected in Taoist and Buddhist traditions, martial arts & the like, whilst the West has old historical traditions of using drugs responsibly in spiritual rituals & to attain spiritual revelations, epiphanies, enlightenment. It's an interesting dichotomy which reflects the macro level laws with respect to drug use & enforcement.

That's including the cost of the initial invasion plus the cost for the nation building efforts, money going to the corrupt Afghan government, and all the military contractors and so on and forth. And that's on top of 20 years of the running cost of the occupation itself.

The Saudis wouldn't need to deploy 100k troops across half the globe to invade Yemen, it's right next door. They don't need to feed their MIC nearly as much as the US. They don't need to pay their soldiers as much. And they could even have skipped on all the development aid and nation building efforts. Just crush the Houthis and then leave enough of a military presence to keep they away. I guess they could have done that for $300 billion if they were actually competent.

For the record: the Western incursion into Afghanistan was ill-conceived because we had no long-term plan; we wasted far too much money and got nothing to show for it in the end. So yes, Afghanistan was a disaster.

Glad we agree on that.

China employed a record 125 aircraft, as well as its Liaoning aircraft carrier and ships, in large-scale military exercises surrounding Taiwan and its outlying islands Monday, simulating the sealing off of key ports in a move that underscores the tense situation in the Taiwan Strait, officials said.

Taiwan's Ministry of National Defence said 90 of the aircraft, including warplanes, helicopters and drones, were spotted within Taiwan's air defence identification zone.

Putin Submits Strategic Partnership Treaty with North Korea to Parliament
A key provision of the agreement states that if either Russia or North Korea is attacked and enters a state of war, the other party will provide military and other assistance using all available means

So if there is another Ukrainian incursion into southwestern Russia, will North Korea send actual soldiers to fight in the Ukraine war?
I mean... good for those soldiers, during their stay in Russia or Ukraine, they might actually get something better to eat than seagrass...

Netanyahu says IDF found ‘state-of-the-art’ Russian arms in Hezbollah bases
Additionally, in the released footage of the Russian weapons found with Hezbollah, the Kornet anti-tank guided missile systems and Igla MANPADS can be seen. The production dates on them range from 2018 to 2021.

Iran and Russia are currently arming the Islamic world and Uncle Sam does nothing.

At least the Israelis might try and invade north into Syria through the Golan Heights in order to cut off the direct supply route into Lebanon. Ive read rumours that the Russians are simply flying them in (which is hella ballsy), but its all speculation. These weapons are what's helping Hezbollah maintain some sort of parity on the ground against Israel.
