Two things can be true at the same time. A lot of Trump's hires didn't have adequate experience, or had questionable backgrounds, or had far-right viewpoints. Trump was the outsider, he didn't have to bring a bunch of incompetent people in with him.

It's notable how many high profile staffers Trump has gotten rid of. Whether you agree with his choices or not, it's just a fact.



Bill's point was about fake outrage, like Jennifer Lawrence wearing a dress. He's not speaking of serious issues, like the president's staffing decisions, or the president firing several high profile people in his first year.

You dont understand. 50% of republicans trusted the press in 2000. By 2016 that fell to basically zero. Republicans no longer trust the media at all. Trying to sell the idea that you erase extremes on both sides to set up a neutral middle shows a fundamental pack of understanding of where america is today politically
