If it were my personal choice I'd have the government forcefully purchase the rights to the vaccine immediately for a hefty sum then distribute it to all manufacturers under the emergency production act (or whatever its called) and force them to start producing it to distribute around the globe.

Why would I? I've personally seen the safety data. I don't know every ingredient in an aspirin either. And for that matter, I don't think you know a single molecule in an apple. If you followed the philosophy of "know the contents" then you would have starved many years ago.
