Cruz and Kasich have officially announced an agreement to coordinate efforts tonight

Quote
"To ensure that we nominate a Republican who can unify the Republican Party and win in November, our campaign will focus its time and resources in Indiana and in turn clear the path for Gov. Kasich to compete in Oregon and New Mexico,"

from cruz camp

Quote
""Our goal is to have an open convention in Cleveland, where we are confident a candidate capable of uniting the party and winning in November will emerge as the nominee,"

If Trump gets defeated this election I doubt he'd come back for round 2 in four (or eight) years.

wouldn't even have to, he'll just tell his supporters to vote for him as a write-in candidate and a large portion would

In general, sure

In primary if it goes against him he will still run as an independent and GOP will be screwed

I'm not sure about the legal technicalities but sore loser laws exist with the intent of that being prevented.

Definitely true.

He has been running since the 60's

This is the first time anyone really gave a shit. He is not the type of guy to step out of the spotlight without a shove.

The last 6 months are The Donald's dream, no way he just goes back writing books with four chapter elevens

Google says 1988 was his first stump speech. Not sure where you're getting the 60s from.

of course it includes Kasich... he is only "favorable" because he has had next to zero negative attention. Its not rocket surgery.
