Assuming it was true in 2015 (I haven't checked and you still haven't either) it changes the claim from true to false. It's the difference between truth and lie. Fake news and real news.

I think both sides of this latest debate, are correct.
Yes, there does seem to be a tendency for shooters to come from...unstable home environments. Not "just" fatherless ones.

I think the debate should be... Do we need the normal familial setup to raise healthy children, mass murderers or not?

Children can turn out to be mentally ill, even when raised in a normal family setup. But is nature the only cause? Might nurture be heavily involved as well?

I believe it should be studied. Maybe Congress should repeal the Dickey Amendment that prevents the CDC from doing just that?
