by "us" i meant the subforum that you're currently posting in. Generally i wouldnt use that type of phrase, but as you're universally hated with zero friends its applicable. i'd use similar phrasing with card sultan, and have.

I mostly lurk because my mastery of the English language leaves much to be desired but here's what I've observed in the last year or so.

It isn't uncommon for fender to misinterpret the stance or how far a certain's person stance is towards any particular subject based on his perception of a particular adjective/term or any word in somebody's post.

It's easy to spot this habit since he often bold the particular word(s). This is why the first response to somebody being quoted by fender is often to clear the air. The sad thing is that more often than not, although not always, his reply is to denigrate the other person and double down on his own previous interpretation in the first place. Essentially, when you try to elaborate on your position further he claims to have intimate personal knowledge on how you think and he is basically calling you a liar and that he's on to you.

I have seen such behavior by people online countless times, but not to this degree of frequency.

I've lost count of how many times posters here had arguments in which he never actually fully grasped the nuanced opinion(s). He was arguing against positions posters had not espoused and caused them to just leave the thread faster than they've would've probably liked to because they saw no gratification in defending a view they did not hold.

Language and how it is used is such a fascinating thing.

so you're just making 'jokes' when you reply, but when someone else replies the only explanation is that they were definitely triggered by one specific term within your rant that you choose... yes, it couldn't be clearer that you're not using any logic there, so your self-deprecating admission is reasonable considering you're obviously posting under the assumption that you're performing for an audience here, trying to win some kind of popularity contest.

that mindset actually explains a lot, and i have to admit i genuinely feel a bit sorry for accidentally winding you up sometimes, considering how much this apparently means to you...

this was a really pretentious post. but its somewhat accurate, when i post its generally a good idea to assume there's a sprinkle of humor if not complete sarcasm, and when you post it's good to assume there's a sprinkle of butthurt if not outright meltdown status.

i've made it clear for years i try to entertain others with my posts, whats the alternative convincing people they're wrong and im right? hows that working out for you?

i assume the 'butthurt' and 'meltdown' terms are also not just simple-minded rubber & glue tactics, but part of a 'clinical' use of the words, right?
looks like pointing out that being upset made you miss some pretty obvious things really stung, i can just re-iterate that i only had the best intentions, trying to hand you a convenient excuse.

no when i used triggered in a literal sense that was a rare occasion, normally when you see a perceived insult you're right. when i called you easily butthurt i was ripping on you, it just happens to be accurate.

you can pull the whole "you're not actually entertaining" card if you like, if that was what you're trying dont want to assume you know. but we all know the truth, you're entertained every time its not directed at you. maybe even sometimes when it is directed at you. i wont apologize for the way i make you feel about yourself.
