The DNC shot themselves in the foot when they rigged the election against Bernie and gave it to Hillary, who was a weak candidate. But don't get it twisted: Trump is not only worse for the US than Hillary, but he's worse for international relations. And during this tenuous time where the EU is fractured, Syria is in grave danger, Russia gained a confidence boost, and ISIS is gaining strength, it's literally terrifying to think what could happen with Trump at the helm of the US.

Here's the thing: the world is always in a tenuous state. I can't think of the last time there HAVEN'T been problems to be worried about. Essentially since planes became things, we had WW1, Depression, WW2, Cold+Viet Nam wars, Desert Storm, Clusterfuck in Yugoslavia, Desert Storm 2.0 The Re-sanding, etc.

There will always be things on fire and issues to deal with. It's a poor argument to pretend like that's something that would go away under any administration.

The argument isn't that Hillary will fix these issues (she probably won't), it's that Trump will exacerbate them. There are always fires to put out, but if you're going to pour alcohol on it instead of water, that's how we get WWII.

That's not a poor argument, it's quite a good one.

Have we been listening to the same Trump?

He has been consistent on his message as far as I am concerned: he wants to ally with Russia and Iran to take out ISIS and stabilize the Middle East, all while preventing global nuclear disaster. That's a beautiful thing to me. Something I've been promoting for a very long time now. It's the agenda liberals should have always been pushing, and we got it with Trump. He may end up being one of the greatest (accidental) progressive presidents.

And how, exactly? Just like the wall he's going to build (and make Mexico pay for it), just like the deportation of all illegal immigrants (economically and practically impossible to do), he says a lot of things he can't back up.

Trump's focus on immigration and the American economy and his opposition to NATO and EU alliances with his favoritism for Russia will destabilize European-Middle East politics. I don't think you're clear on what's exactly going on with Russia in Syria and the state of ISIS, the rebel groups, the kurds, and the Assad Regime if you think it's a simple "ally up and attack!"...

What makes you think he can't back up building a wall and fixing illegal immigration? You have some interesting opinions. Very false in terms facts, but interesting.

Building a wall is one thing, building a wall and forcing another nation to pay for its construction is another. As much as crippling sanctions can do, it's not going to force Mexico's hand that easily.

Fixing illegal immigration is one thing (Hillary also proposed ideas to do this), deporting millions of people is another. Have you ever considered the logistics of seeking out and transporting millions of hidden people, whose departure will leave a void in our agriculture, fast food, construction industries, etc. that won't be easily replaced by other blue collar American workers who won't work for under minimum wage like they do? I don't think so.

"Very false in terms of facts" - Pray tell? I always base my opinions on fact, logic, and reason because I'm a well educated and rational being. Hence my disapproval of both Hillary and Trump (but for different reasons).

Clinton was a bad candidate for president.

Can I say that now without being labeled a sexist?
