"society" = RiskofFascism's justification for destroying liberty and stealing from people, even in the most minute, personal and arbitrary of circumstances.

Individual liberty, authoritarian apologists can't comprehend it.

They padded the numbers with ridiculous statistics like 15 minutes delayed at the airport for every passenger in the united states, and say it takes away 31$ per hour * 15 minutes worth of time from every leisure traveler.

There's more, but I found this one particularly ridiculous number-padding.

No different from you boiling all regulations down to affronts on liberty.

I remember that from American History in high school. It spawned a catch phrase in the women's sufferage movement. "A vote is a fire escape" or so they said in the movie we watched. Just take fire escapes out of factories, that saves you probably 1000$ per worker!

Thank heaven the Union/Labor movement changed all this nonsense.
