Weeell, are the rankings that uniform outside of the very top and very bottom though?

They aren't identical, but yes, they're remarkably similar across all parties.

Nobdy can deny that Trump got off to a very rocky start. I just wanted to point out that your argument "look, even repulbican scholars think trump sucks" might be flawed since those republican scholars probably belong to the strain of republicanism most opposed to Trump.

Yeah, the educated strain B)

Anyway, I agree that it's too premature to really rank Trump, or any president for that matter, after just one year in office.
At this point in his presidency, George W. Bush would probably have been ranked in the top10 or so....

The thing is though, his administration hasn't reached a normal level of functionality even after a full year. He can't even staff his departments, even the important ones like the state department.

You might not think that's a big deal but China is filling the leadership Gap and setting policy agenda worldwide. The vacuum of leadership in the world is going to be filled and it may not be filled with our best interest.

He should have had them vetted and submitted before he even took the oath. Yeah, they're filibustering, but he's also submitting them at an abysmally slow rate, and when he does submit someone its people like his Netherlands ambassador who said the Netherlands has politicians getting burned by Muslims.
