I'll give you an example.
A study went to Zimbabwe and gave a few different groups of people a matrices test. Basically just tests pattern recognition. Two of the groups they gave it to were some factory workers, and some kids at a really affluent high school. They then went back 6 months later and gave them a similar test to see if they improved.
Later, some researchers converted the matrix values to a tenative IQ test (a conversion that's since been discredited, but whatever). Then the authors of The Bell Curve (a book that originates probalby eveyr racial IQ claim you've ever heard of) took the results from the factory workers and said "this is the result for all Africans" and compared it to the average result for whites in America, and claimed that black people inherently have a lower average IQ.
I'm sure you can understand why this methodology is bad.
The methodology has since been greatly improved and has found that IQ is heavily influenced by things like money stress and food security, and if you correct for those factors then there's no meaningful difference across races in the U.S.

If blacks were as smart as they say, they’d be among the top 3 richest people in the world. Europeans, Asians, Blacks. Latinos are as stupid as the black but go to work. Africa is a wealth of riches. It has the last megafauna, nearly every climate, is entirely coastal with oil, minerals and gorgeous farmland. And what has been done with it? Absolutely nothing. It’s an absolute travesty and along with communist Jews and corporate greed has held back humanity for its entire history. Without these people the people of earth would have colonized the stars already. Regardless of that fact, the white man marches on. You people are the negative aspect of progress (whites).
