right, except the nhs part. at the end of the day, there's no point pumping more money into an inefficient system that doesn't work. the 12% of NI contributions I pay and 13.8% my employer pays doesn't even cover it. the government have to dip into income taxes to cover nhs expenditure. bear in mind, i dont even use the nhs, so why should i pay for it? every time i went there i got let down by substandard doctors or long waiting lists that gave me no alternative but to go private. the whole thing needs to go private, i say.
