while it’s kind of obvious not to use the n-word, it is a little odd seeing a man who says “bitch” in a lot of his songs yell at a girl for rapping his own lyrics after an invite to do so

with that said, the general rule of “white people shouldnt say the n-word” is probably best, even if the lyrics of maad city has 21 uses of it

COMPLICATED issue.... charlamagne tha god stopped saying the n-word, then a month later he was back on it.

rap lyric n words are about as tame as you can get, and not racist when from a fan. now if you're mocking the lyrics i get that being racist. when someone buys ur cds, pays for tickets, etc its just dickish to put them in a bad spot then scold them.

kendrick had real promise, now he's slipping into a pretty boring rap career. i hoped he'd evolve, but it looks like he's intent on just remaking his first album for cash.
