Trump confuses Nikki Haley and Nancy Pelosi. The dementia has truly set in.

I'm 95% sure Trump wins the Republican primary, even if he gets indicted. Happy to take FG bets from anyone, 1:1.

1k v 1k, confirmed.

Confirmed

Now that this bet is about to be finished, I'm pondering a new one for the general election.

The bet: if in November the ballot is still Biden vs Trump, and both men are alive, even if Trump has been convicted of a felony, he still wins the presidential election. If Trump hasn't been convicted of a felony by November, the bet is void. 1:1 odds, taking up to 5k FG worth of bets.

Put the Americans first

He stole that from the Dutch election victor Wilders:

U will need to offer better odds imo

This is historically the worst polling of an incumbent in American history

And Trump is a historically flawed challenger.

Also, polling can be misleading because it doesn't tell you where a politician is losing support. In the case of Biden, his polling is skewed downward by the effect of the Gaza war and the deep dissatisfaction that core Demcoratic constituencies like Muslims or young progressives feel because of it. Even without this factor, Biden's polling would still be in the mud and one of the worst in history at this point in the respective presidency, don't get me wrong. Still, there is reason to assume that these groups will come around in the end and vote for Biden. They just need to be reminded that Trump was the most pro-Israel president in US history and generally has little love lost for Muslims. That alone won't rescue Biden, but an improving economy would surely help his foturtunes.

And Democrats haven't even begun carpet bombing the airwaves with anti-Trump ads, reminding voters why they hated Trump, reminding them with visceral imagery of how ugly Jan 6 was, reminding them of his handling of classified documents, his flattery of Putin, and so on.

Long story short, 1:1 odds are imho totally fair. Biden vs Trump in 2024 is a race to the fucking bottom, and a total crapshoot in terms of betting.

It’s a race to the bottom for sure

But at this point bidens cognitive decline is impossible to ignore, coupled with the world in mayhem. Even with how flawed a candidate trump might be, he’s walking into the White House

As long as the economy doesn't crash and WW3 doesn't break out, I don't see a world in which Trump gets more than 49% of the vote, or Biden gets less than 48%. Trump can definitely overcome a 2-3% deficit in the popular vote and still win the EC, but I really don't see him winning easily.
