So if you inject someone with heroin against their will and they happen to die... Is that not manslaughter? Seems kinda similar to giving a baby alcohol and it dying to me.

I don't agree with women being prosecuted for having a miscarriage I'm just saying the argument for it is pretty sound if you accept the premise that abortion is murder and that foetuses should be considered the same as born babies by the law.

Yeah, it's not much of a stretch.

Now that I've properly described what Alex was trying to say, I haven't given enough thought to the issue. Obviously investigating every miscarriage seems ridiculous. It reminds me of the parent who let his kid roast and die in a car on accident.... sometimes the result is punishment enough for the crime.
