So Donald Trump went on a streak today at some dinners and galas for comedic roasts and dropped joke after joke
And predictably, the media went alight with taking his jokes seriously and reporting his every wisecrack as some terrible scandal

from trumps one-liners we have:

Obama said that he would like to pass laws, but can't because there has to be checks and balances, and that's a good thing.

We're just pointing out the blatant hypocrisy. It really doesn't come from Democrats in this extreme of a degree.

I mean, in this case, yes. The reason I can say that is because it's a verifiable claim with specific rules.

Republicans are more hypocritical than Democrats. A large portion of that is because they tend to freak out over every little thing Democrats do, so they end up doing it themselves very frequently.

Another reason is they want to regulate our personal lives, and so that gives them a greater hole to fall into hypocrisy wise.

The average hypocritical act is lesser in degree for Republicans though. This is just a consequence of them making a big deal out of minor things though, and not a statement on the frequency of large hypocrisies on either side.
