so let me get the actual facts straight
america operates on foreign territory without a declaration of war, against all international laws and the laws of war, sponsoring war crime committing "rebels" (a mixture of islamists and deserters that have murdered, raped and plundered for years now) and attacks lawful combatants of the syrian army and their allies on their own territory
if thats not a war crime then what is
You think the YPG are a mix of islamists and deserters that have murdered, raped and plundered?
I think you got your talking points crossed, you're supposed to call them communist terrorists and/or infidels and praise erdogan / the ayatollah / assad.

so while the move is understandable you forget the actual problem here
the united states have no business in syria and their war crimes have to end, the murderous regime change madness has to end
its amazing how the facts and causes are twisted to somehow justify the warmongering in syria
The US has a business in syria because Obama foolishly made it our business to get involved in syria. Once we're in, we have obligations. And though the humanitarian disaster would never have unfolded if not for Obama's original support for the islamists / al-nusra / isis and withdrawal from an unsecured iraq, if such a war
had somehow erupted on its own, it would be the responsibility of team america: world police to intervene, because at some point it does become a moral imperative as stewards of the world, just one that has to be pragmatically calculated, done neither rashly nor with too much reticence. And where Syria has been after years of Obama keeping the wound festering, it has plainly reached far beyond the point where intervention would have become reasonable.
As far as international law and codes, lmao, nobody gives a shit
