im not pro laughing at the dead, but its not entirely 1 sided. and i think the echo chamber effect is leading this in both circles. pro vaxx subs lean the same way, people making light of the deaths. liberal twitter posters with a liberal following are the same. conservative anti vaxxers with anti vaxx followers are the same.
the longer you talk about something, especially if its tragic, the higher chance there is for a clip to be made of some joke that was made at the expense of the dead. shit look at Afghanistan, memes took like 5 mins to be posted as the whole thing went to shit. laughter is a shameful but effective coping mechanism to ignore pain and suffering. we do it yearly when we joke about super bowl losing t shirts going to swollen bellied african children who have a life expectancy of 35.
