I thought we were talking about high school. Just because we have a lower population and thus far less major league sports does not mean youth don't aspire.

I mean rec leagues are in nearly every school. Usually 3-5 and then 6-9 or something. Its so parents can keep their kids busy while they work. They're awesome and everyone plays round-robin style or whatever depending on whats going that day. That's just being a Canadian kid.

We have similar thing but they are not linked to public education or the taxes that pay for public education.

I pay a property tax that pays for my school's programming including sports. Its 500-600 a month. I do not believe it is fair to take That much money from somebody every month to pay for a thing and then not let them use that thing.

And if a woman is talented enough to go professional then getting dunked on by a trans person won't stop that from happening so that's an easily dismissable argument.

Well here In Canada my marginal tax rate is pushing 55% before I pay property tax which has its education mil rate mixed in and good old town or municipality tax.

So I think we likely pay a lot more of our earnings in to social programs of which I have zero problems with.

I'm not a social justice warrior I'm a social justice paladin.

There are more classes than Warrior.

Professional leagues can do what they want.

What if your kids were excluded from the social programs you are paying for?

That is what we are talking about in essence.

To everyone else: What other extracurricular should transgendered people be excluded from? Just sports? What about STEM? A lot of people here will tell me the brain of a male is better than the brain of a female for stem based on all the people in the field. Should MtF be banned from STEM competition as well?

They wouldnt be from rec. For competitive sports here you have to pay still. That being said I am sure its subsidized to an extent so your point remains. As a parent I will be angry sure. That's the answer you want. But those angry parents make up not even the smallest fraction of a % and likely keeps a significantly larger % happier and feeling like they're on a more level ground as a result. It is a very small trade off. If you want you can hyperbowl that and make a bunch of slippery slope arguments.

What about STEM as I asked about above? Not as sexy as sports But you have competition for scholarships etc for women in STEM.

While we are deciding what certain people are allowed to do.

I don't know what STEM is, but there's a clear distinction between women and men from a physical perspective. It's highly pronounced. The obviously areas where this is clearly highlighted like powerlifting, it's an easy cherry-pick I don't know if the differences in the brain are so pronounced I honestly don't know or have an opinion because I don't know.

To me its obvious biological males dominate females in almost every sport. I think we can agree on that. So let males transitioning to females play with males and females transitioning to males play with males since males are the dominant force. Everyone's included. Easy-peasy.

Parents are already angry AF, just in general. Gender issues aren't making that better or worse.
