These are 2 seperate conversations:
1. the increasing power of the executive office by way of expanding the purview of executive orders. Clinton did it, Bush did it, Obama did it, Trump does it. all bad, i dont like any of it.
2. Trump as a person's ability or lack thereof to retain office if the electoral college votes for Biden. executive orders have been expanded, but they cant be used to override the EC.
This is mostly a by product of the senate and house not willing to do their fucking job and just bitch and moan about the other side and even when they get power, in party struggles happen and shit still doesn't get done. Republicans are going to cry and moan for the next 4 years about the budget/deficit.
